Wranga is a pioneering platform dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of children in the digital age. Recognizing the profound impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology on our lives, we've established a comprehensive framework designed to ensure the internet becomes a safer, more inclusive space for the youngest members of our society. Our mission revolves around the development and implementation of child-centered AI policies, research, and technology solutions that prioritize the rights, safety, and educational needs of children online. At the heart of Wranga's philosophy is the belief that children should not only be protected but also empowered within the digital ecosystem. To this end, we actively involve children in the design process of AI technologies, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met from the outset. Our initiatives span across twelve key pillars, including inclusive AI design, education and empowerment, data privacy, and ethical AI implementation, among others. Each pillar represents a commitment to creating a balanced digital environment where children can learn, play, and grow safely. Our collaborative approach brings together policymakers, businesses, educators, and families to foster a global dialogue on child safety online. Through continuous improvement and a dedication to ethical standards, Wranga aims to lead by example, advocating for an internet that respects and upholds the dignity and rights of every child. As we navigate the complexities of the digital world, our vision remains clear: to empower future generations with the knowledge, tools, and protections they need to thrive in an AI-driven future.
Wranga began with a hope to educate parents and guardians to safeguard their children from unwanted and inappropriate content online. Sitting and talking about the dire need of mentoring parents about digital technology and digital well-being of their children, Wranga came into existence. The idea is solely to make a platform which aggregates age-appropriate content and also reviews the existing content in the form of films, videos, games, books, applications and many more. And easy to set a guide for parents, WRANGA’s Digital Parenting Experts have curated easy to follow content for the digital migrants.
Wranga investigates how parents weigh the potential benefits and risks of their child's use of electronic devices and online activity, which aspects of their child's online activity concern them the most, and how confident they are in their ability to supervise their child's use of technology.
Almost every child of a certain age uses a digital device that is connected to the internet, which means that parents must deal with a completely new aspect of parenting, known as Digital Parenting. When it comes to using digital devices, parents must decide what is good or bad for their children, how much control is appropriate, and how to keep children safe in the digital environment.
